From photo to scan in three steps
- Check the corners. When a photo loads, the tool looks for the edges of the page and places four handles on its corners. If it isn’t confident, the thumbnail is marked Adjust: drag each handle onto a corner of the paper.
- Pick a filter and paper size. The page is cut out and flattened as if it had been scanned face down, then cleaned up by the filter you choose.
- Apply and save. Press Apply scan, check the result, and download a PDF, a ZIP of images, or a single image.
Taking a photo that scans well
- Put light paper on a dark surface. The contrast is what lets the corners be found automatically.
- Shoot from roughly above. The perspective correction can handle an angle, but the far edge of a steeply tilted page loses resolution.
- Use daylight or even room light and avoid the flash, which leaves a bright spot. Keep your own shadow off the page.
- Fill most of the frame with the page while keeping all four corners visible.
Choosing a filter

Paper size and output
Tight (the default) keeps just the page. A4, Letter and Legal place the scan on a standard sheet at 150 DPI with an 8 mm margin, which is what most portals and printers expect. The PDF stores each page as a JPEG image, so it looks exactly like the preview, but the text isn’t searchable.

My photo is already straight. Do I still need this?
If the page is already cropped and flat, the scan enhancer applies the same filters without the corner step.
Can I scan both sides of an ID card onto one page?

How many pages can I scan at once?
Up to 10 photos per batch.
