How the files are named
Each line becomes one 512 × 512 px code, named by its line number: qr-001.png, qr-002.png and so on. Keep your list in a spreadsheet next to it, so row 1 of the spreadsheet matches qr-001. Blank lines are skipped and don’t use up a number, so remove them before pasting if the numbering needs to match your rows exactly.
PNG or JPG?
PNG is lossless and keeps the edges of each square perfectly sharp; use it for printing and label software. JPG at quality 100 is offered for systems that only accept JPG. Neither has a transparent background.
What can go on each line
Anything a QR code can hold: web links, plain text, serial numbers, or ready-made payloads such as tel:+15551234567. Each line is encoded exactly as written. Short lines make simpler codes that scan more reliably on small labels, so for asset tags a short ID or link is better than a long URL with tracking parameters.
Questions
Can I style bulk codes with colours or a logo?
Bulk codes use plain black on white, which scans most reliably on labels. For a single styled code, use the QR code generator.
I have more than 50.
Run batches of 50. Since the numbering restarts at 001 in each ZIP, rename or keep each batch in its own folder.
Is my list uploaded?
No. Every code is drawn and zipped in your browser.
